Our Magnetic Separator SM

This is a screening system generally used as a complement to paper filters and drum filters. Its most common use is in combination with paper filters, in order to remove the bulk of the residue contained in the liquid before it enters the paper filter. In this way, the durability of the paper is extended and consumable costs are reduced.

It consists of a metal body with a rotating magnetic roller that removes metallic particles. A scraper plate mounted tangentially to the roller separates the adhered metal and deposits it into a sludge collection bin.

Our SM model can be used in both pumped and gravity-fed liquid applications. It is suitable for all processes that involve magnetizable chips of short size.
