Combined FILCON filter (RDF)
Permanent mesh filters for integrated machine installation and management of all types of chips: short, long, curly, etc.
The RDF is a self-cleaning drum filter from our ECO range.
It is an ideal filtration system for machining processes. The advantage of this type of filter over conventional paper filters is that, in addition to filtering, it transports the waste and eliminates the need for paper consumables.
It consists of two overlapping conveyor belts.
The first one is a hinge belt conveyor designed to receive coarse and curly chips and is powered by its own motor.
The second is a conveyor with dragging paddles, powered by another motor, onto which a drum-shaped device is mounted that rotates in sync with the conveyor chain.
The drum is an independent part inserted into the body of the conveyor belt. A nylon filtering mesh is fixed on the surface of the drum, and nozzles inside the drum are responsible for cleaning the mesh from the inside out.
The liquid passing through the mesh is filtered and moves into the clean tank from one side of the drum.
The long and curly chips are extracted via the hinge belt conveyor.
The remaining liquid moves to the second conveyor through communication windows between the conveyors.
The heavy residue settles at the bottom, and the dragging paddles extract it into a container. Solid particles adhered to the mesh are expelled by the cleaning nozzles and removed by the dragging paddles.
Our RDF model is designed to be integrated under the machine, allowing dirty liquid to be received by gravity.
