Paper filters IR
Filters with a very simple mechanism used for filtering small to medium flow volumes.
Performance
- The roll of paper is spread over a mobile bed of metal mesh.
- The liquid passes through the paper in such a way that the solid is retained by the paper, and the filtered liquid moves towards the storage tank.
- As the paper becomes clogged with dirt, it becomes impossible for the liquid to pass through the paper, and a layer of liquid begins to form on top of it.
- The accumulated liquid rises until it reaches a certain level, activating a level detection probe.
- This probe moves the mobile bed along with the dirty paper, which has adhered to its surface, until the liquid level drops again as it comes into contact with the next clean portion of the paper.
- Once the level has dropped, the mobile bed stops and remains in this state until the paper becomes clogged again, and the process repeats.
